Social Selling with LinkedIn Publisher

With all the talk about social selling - it's important to note that LinkedIn is not actually about selling! It is about creating better relationships with your connections so that they begin to know, like and trust you enough to eventually buy from you. All things being equal, people will do business with, and refer business to, those people they know, like and trust Bob Burg So, first and foremost, you must know who your audience is and then create content that they would be interested in. Some Tips to Get You Better Content and More Views! Repurpose Your Content It's OK to repurpose existing blog content on LinkedIn since LinkedIn articles are not generally indexed on Google. Using spreadsheets to manage your Content Marketing?

Using spreadsheets to manage your Content Marketing?

So much content to produce. So many different tools. A lot of miscommunication. Typically, content marketing teams use a set of disconnected tools like project management software, a calendar, spreadsheets and a zillion email exchanges, phone calls, text messages and attachments to create content. Once an item is finalized and approved, another team member uploads it to yet another platform and schedules it to publish. Sooner or later, all of the back and forth between Slack, emails, different applications and software packages result in tasks slipping through the cracks, or worse, the wrong version being published. (Yes, its happened to me!) Research shows a disjointed content marketing process can cost companies $120,000 annually the equivalent... Read More

What to do now that we are losing LinkedIn’s CRM features (Saved and Advanced Search, Tagging and Notes)

By: Viveka Wednesday January 18, 2017 comments Tags: LinkedIn, LinkedIn Tags, Nimble, Dux-Soup, LinkedIn Expert, LinkedIn Tips

You have probably heard rumors about all the changes being made to LinkedIn in the next few months. (If not, read this article). One of the biggest changes is that we are losing the Advanced search as well as saved searches, tagging and note-taking. All CRM aspects of the FREE LinkedIn service are going away. Which is a HUGE bummer for people who have been actively prospecting using these tools with their free LinkedIn accounts. The solution within LinkedIn is to upgrade to Sales Navigator (which I personally love,) but at $79 a month, that is going to be outside of most peoples wheelhouse! Another solution is to use the Chrome Extension Dux-Soup which has both free and paid version and works to create Tags and Notes for your prospects on LinkedIn (when using Chrome.) ... Read More

What is the Difference Between the Old LinkedIn User Interface and the New UI in 2017 (and Why Should You Care?)

LinkedIns New Look LinkedIn's new user interface is here. Well, its here for some of us like my friend Kate Paine . I dont have it , so a huge thank you to Kate for giving me access to her new LinkedIn UI! I have a video you can watch of my UI comparison here ! Lets take a look at LinkedIn side by side so you can see what's new on LinkedIn, what's gone away on LinkedIn, what's better with the new LinkedIn user interface, and what's not so hot! First of all, wow, LinkedIn changed colors, right? It's been some form of blue, black, and white, and gray for at least nine years. They've moved to this dark teal color. How does this affect you? Well, probably not much at all unless you are colorblind. Having said that, the reason LinkedIn is giving for the new user... Read More
