LinkedIn Profile Video Audit – Anne Thornley-Brown

August 3, 2010

This week’s winner of the video audit was Ann Thornley-Brown. Ann already has a superb profile – the only areas I really recommended tweaking were:

• Applications: Ann masterfully uses applications. My only recommendation is to use the “Slideshare” application to upload some examples of her work (including video) so that her potential executive clients could actually see and get a sense of what she does.

The LinkedIn Company Profile: Is your company properly represented on LinkedIn?

July 16, 2010

By now you might have heard that to get found on LinkedIn, you have to have a well optimized Personal Profile. (Which will, of course, also get you found on Google). But what about your company? Why? For the simple reason that their company is not correctly named, nor is the description content optimized properly.

The “New” LinkedIn Group – And What It Means to You

July 9, 2010

LinkedIn has done a lot lately to become more social. Its tagline might have been “Relationships Matter” but traditionally it has not done much to encourage those relationships. This is changing with the distinctly Twitter and Facebook-like applications within LinkedIn. Check out their new format for Groups and let me know what you think.
