Creating LinkedIn Showcase Pages

A few days ago LinkedIn released its new Showcase Pages. Like subgroups in your groups – your Company Page can now have "sub pages" called  now have sub pages.  

This is a great idea for companies that want to really focus on a specific product or service or that have many sub-brands.  For example, I was recently doing a conference for real estate professionals and Showcase Pages might be a great place to put different listings or different properties that you manage.  You could share updates reflecting positive feedback form your clients or guests.

I'm going to be highlighting my bigger products like Linked Prospecting as a showcase page.  I'll invite specific people to my page - maybe even just LinkedProspecting members, and share updates on the latest and greatest LinkedIn Prospecting tips - just for them.  (As far as I know all Showcase Pages are public - but if someone wants to work hard enough to find that page they are welcome to my exclusive tips!)  BTW - you can fine MY new Showcase page at:  I love that the page URL is intuitive and not a bunch of numbers and letters! While more limited then your Company Page, you can still create some nice branding and this page will "talk" specifically to your target markets in using Updates (that will have insights!)

Showcase pages have now been released to everyone and here's a quick video on how to create yours!

Here's the breakdown!

  • Go to your Company Page
  • On the Home Page click on the drop down box to the RIGHT of edit
  • Click on Create a Showcase Page
  • Name Your Page (Consider a Call to Action)
  • Add administrators
  • Describe your Page (200 Characters)
  • Add your Image (974 x 330 pixels)
  • Add some updates
  • Invite people over!
